ERASMUS

The   E R A S M U S Journal
One of the most important activities of our association consists in publishing the journal "Erasmus". The journal presents the work of the members of Erasmus but also includes important contributions - articles, reviews - from people who share the same interest in history but are not currently involved in our association.
Until now there have been published eight issues of the journal "Erasmus", all of them in Romanian, although the first issues included articles in English and French. We are indebted to the Bucharest section of the Soros Foundation for an Open Society for its financial support in editing these issues. At this moment, Erasmus is preparing the ninth issue of its journal, which is planned to be entirely in international languages - mainly English and to a smaller extent French and German. We are now looking for sponsors for this issue.
The electronic version of the journal contains recent articles and reviews, even though we are considering the idea of publishing on the Web some of the best materials already issued in paperback.
Unfortunately, at this point we can offer you especially works in Romanian and only few in English, but we’re working on it. However, we should mention that the former have also summaries in English, so that anybody can get a general idea. We encourage the free distribution of all materials included here, but we ask you to make complete reference to the article cited and to mention us as the source of your information.
Please e-mail us your comments, suggestions and any work you may want to publish in our electronic journal - articles, reviews, essays. If you cannot e-mail your work contact us and we will arrange a way to receive it.
